Shipping Costs and Returns Policy
- Our shipping within Australia will be "Tracked Parcel Post" with Australia Post or Courier (Signature will be required at delivery on most items). We will notify you via email of the tracking number as soon as it is available.
- Standard Shipping costs:
1 gram to 150 grams $6.90
151 grams to 500 grams = $10.00
501 g to 3 kg = $15.00
3 kg to 5 kg = $20.00
3 kg to 5 kg = $20.00
Express Post is available at the following rates: 1 gram to 500 grams = $12.00 501 grams to 3 Kg = $18.00 3 kg to 4 kg = $28.00 ***Express Post cannot be purchased for goods totalling over 4 kg
- We are currently shipping to the following countries, with the Shopping Cart automatically calculating the Australia Post shipping cost, according to your delivery address.
- The calculated rate is "Air Mail" with a 3 to 10 Day Delivery. If you would like "Sea Mail" please contact us for costings. (Sea Mail can have up to a 3 month delivery time)
- Clicking the Zone next to your country name, will bring up your postage costs

If We Are Out Of Australian Stock
- In the rare event we are out of Stock on any item in Australia, we will have it posted to you direct from the US manufacturer with an Australian Invoice at no extra cost to you.
- You will be notified immediately, and you will be given the option of a full refund or delivery from America. The Delivery times from America are from 7 to 14 days.
Item Return Policy
Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return it to us for a full refund.
Please contact us if you have questions about your purchase, if there is a problem we will work with you to correct it.
If you would like to return it we ask the following criteria be met.
- If you decide within 10 days of delivery that goods purchased does not meet your requirements, and it is in the same condition as it was when delivered. A full refund for the item will be issued as soon as the returned item is received by us.
- If you decided you need a "larger" or "smaller table" within 10 days of initial delivery we will either "charge for" or "refund" the price difference of the tables only (We will not charge delivery or postage charges) *We apologise, but we are unable to offer free postage for exchange to International Buyers). Return of the initial item, will be at the purchasers expense, and must be received by us prior to the new table being shipped.
- If the item is won in competitions or raffles, no refunds will be issued.
- If you have purchased direct from the USA and not Sewing Buddies Australia, the above return policy is not valid. Please contact Sewing Mates USA, or EcoluxLighting and let them know your problem, you will find them extremely helpful. And between us all, we will try very hard to rectify your problem in the most cost effective and efficient manner.
